Job summary
A leading logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Penang, Malaysia. The role involves managing all warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing inventory management processes. Ideal candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the Automotive sector, and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory for effective communication. The position offers an opportunity to make impactful decisions and lead a dynamic team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in warehouse or inventory management roles, ideally in Automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations.
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including inventory control.
- Implement effective inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with teams to align inventory with demand.

- Manage and oversee all WAREHOUSE operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to optimise warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with production, sales and procurement teams to align inventory levels with customer demand
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity, safety and customer service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Prepare detailed reports and analysis to support strategic decision‑making
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in the Automotive industry
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control techniques and supply chain operations
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making skills
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- MANDARIN language is mandatory for communication with others
