EXECUTIVE, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS (Must Know Mandarin)
Job summary
A leading company in corporate communications in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is seeking an Executive who is proficient in Mandarin for media relations, event coordination, and communication tasks. The successful candidate will have at least a diploma in mass communications or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in reading and writing Mandarin are essential, along with good command in English and Malay. This role offers an opportunity to manage press relations and organize important events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate communications or related field.
- High level of proficiency in Mandarin and good command in English or Malay.
- Experience in copywriting in Mandarin is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents from English to Mandarin.
- Manage media relations and prepare press releases.
- Organize press conferences and events.
- Work independently and as part of a team.

- Able to read and write in Mandarin – translation from English to Mandarin.
- Media relations include preparing and issuing press releases, identifying press opportunities, liaison with journalists, media monitoring and reporting, etc.
- Coordinating events such as press conferences, press briefings and other related events/activities.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Possess average written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma in mass communications / journalism / public relations with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role and related field.
- High/Professional levels of Mandarin proficiency. Good command in English or Malay is a plus point.
- Experience in Mandarin copywriting is an advantage.
- Computer literate with skills in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
