About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Technical Service Engineer to join our team at MEAN WELL MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing technical services across various power supply solutions. With your strong technical expertise and excellent customer service skills, you will be responsible for supporting sales and business development from a technical standpoint to contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Provide efficient and accurate pre-sales application and technical support by analyzing customer requirements and recommending optimal solutions
• Deliver comprehensive after-sales support and services to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Conduct product and application training sessions for internal sales teams and external customers
• Accompany Sales team members on customer visits to provide product demonstrations and technical expertise
• Coordinate technical activities in close collaboration with sales and business development teams
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers; process field returns and perform root cause analysis on power supply circuitry to identify and resolve issues

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of technical sales or application engineering experience in the Electrical/Electronic industry (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of power supply products and the characteristics of electronics components
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to respect timelines and schedules
• Highly motivated, with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
