Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Malaysia seeks an experienced process manager to oversee and manage various processes and modules. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives regarding quality and cost optimization, supporting New Product Introductions from prototype to full production, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in defect analysis and PCB proficiency, complemented by a focus on quality and safety standards.

Oversee and manage assigned processes and modules.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on quality, yield, productivity, delivery, and cost optimization.

Participate in the commissioning of new machinery, monitor modifications, upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes.

Ensure all process aspects comply with relevant control regulations and standards.

Provide process-related guidelines, RFCs (Request for Change), DRBs (Design Review Boards), and knowledge transfer to production staff.

Execute 5S and safety activities within the designated area.

Documentation & Standards

Develop and maintain process control standards, engineering OMOI (Operating Methods and Instructions), and other essential engineering documentation, ensuring all are current and accurate.

Manage customer documentation and technical information.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from prototype to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) stages.

Implement new structure development for both existing and new products.

Submit NPI Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for HVM products.

Prepare for Quality Assurance (QA) meetings and Design Reviews (DR) for new products at each prototype stage.

Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure all related items (e.g., machinery, materials) meet updated specifications.

Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Senior Technicians I and II.

Compliance & Policy Adherence

Adhere to and support all departmental and corporate policies and procedures, including quality, safety, and environmental standards.
