Key Account Executive / Manager
About the Role

This role plays a key supporting role to the Global Business Managers managing Global Brands accounts through the South Asia region and actively participates as part of the Detpak South Asia team focussed on consolidating Detpak’s reputation for delivering on its promise to provide quality, service, and efficiency to all internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing winning relationships through transparent communication with all key customer stakeholders, internally and externally, working across our Global Brand customers within South Asia (incorporating but not limited to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand).
  • Effectively contribute to the development, and update, of the annual account plans for Global Brands customers in line with company strategy.
  • Driving growth in existing accounts and managing new business development pipelines for Global Brands customers.
  • Maintain baseline and promotional forecasts for Global Brands products and manage stock levels and aged stock targets in conjunction with Group Supply Chain to ensure the stock position is maintained.
  • Facilitating effective onboarding of new business & promotional items, including raising QP and OPD through salesforce and the authority to quote customers; Tender, External Quotes; raising sample requests as required and loading forecasts and monitoring lead times.
  • In conjunction with the Global Business Managers, negotiate pricing and promotional activities within an agreed framework.
  • Maintaining active and accurate customer information in Salesforce and updating opportunities, creating & allocating tasks and logging call notes.
  • In conjunction with Global Business Managers, develop content and play a lead role in delivering all quarterly Business Review meetings with agreed customers, targeting continuous improvement and business development opportunities at every review.
  • Using PowerBI to monitor key metrics and on an ongoing basis analysing performance and trends in Global Brands accounts to identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency and highlight them to the Global Business Managers.
  • Delivering accurate and timely reporting to key internal stakeholders on progress against agreed key objectives, as required.
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree qualified, in disciplines such as Commerce, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • Relevant experience as an Account Manager or Account Coordinator with a focus on providing excellence in customer service within FMCG, Distribution or Packaging.
  • Experience working with customers across multiple geographies, partnering with complex, large-scale customers, supporting tenders and negotiations, working with Supply Chain or an understanding of, and exposure to, Supply Chain.
  • The ability to establish credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders working across a broad range of functional areas.
  • The ability to effectively prioritise, manage multiple customer accounts, projects and execute with excellence, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Sound commercial acumen and an understanding of commercial objectives and how the P&L can be impacted.
  • Strong commitment to quality / focus on customer centric service excellence and driving and delivering successful results.
  • Exposure to, or previous experience undertaking, strategic planning.
  • Proficient using the MS Office suite of products, CRM packages, preferably Salesforce and Power BI.
