Job summary
A financial services company in Mexico City is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Payroll & Compliance Coordinator. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing contractor payroll, and ensuring HR compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree related to finance or HR and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Competitive salary offered.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or HR compliance.
- Familiarity with labor laws and contractor management.
- Knowledge of accounting software preferred but not required.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and Xero.
- Calculate weekly payroll and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Prepare and send weekly invoices to clients.
- Maintain accurate contractor records and ensure HR compliance.
- Advise on contractor classification and support onboarding processes.
