DoorDash is seeking an experienced Manager, Tax Technology to lead tax-platform and business projects across new verticals, merchants, and product launches. You will translate tax requirements into functional specifications, review technical designs, and drive end-to-end delivery with cross-functional teams.

You will partner with Tax Engineering, TAP, and Product, ensuring data flows from upstream systems through Vertex to downstream reporting, while developing the offshore team and maintaining

Competenze

• 6+ years of indirect tax or indirect tax technology experience.
• Experience with US sales and use tax, Canada GST/HST/PST, and Australia and New Zealand GST.
• Experience implementing or configuring Vertex O Series or similar tax engine.
• Translate business and tax requirements into functional system requirements and review design documents.
• Engage with engineering teams on product development and data flows.

Mansioni

• Lead tax platform and business projects on the DoorDash platform, including new verticals and merchant launches.
• Gather requirements from TAP, Tax Product, and stakeholders and convert them into functional tax requirements for Vertex CoE.
• Review BRDs, PRDs, and TDDs for tax-system implications and provide tax expertise back to engineering.
• Define testing requirements and oversee validations across unit, integration, and post-launch phases.
• Trace tax data from upstream systems through Vertex to downstream reporting and identify gaps.
