Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Manager, Tax Technology to lead tax platform and business projects across new verticals, merchants, and product launches. You will partner with Tax Engineering, TAP, and Tax Product to translate requirements into Vertex CoE configurations and review design documents for tax impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of indirect tax or indirect tax technology experience.
• Experience with US sales/use tax, and international GST contexts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into tax-system functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax platform and business projects on the DoorDash platform.
• Gather requirements from TAP, Tax Product, and stakeholders and translate into tax-system requirements for Vertex CoE.
• Review BRDs, PRDs, and TDDs for tax-system implications and provide functional tax input to engineering.
• Define testing requirements and oversee unit, integration, E2E, shadow, and post-launch validations.
• Trace tax data from upstream systems through Vertex to downstream reporting and flag gaps.
