Job summary

MSCI is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Analyst to accelerate our Sustainability & Climate business across the Americas, including Carbon Markets solutions. This client-facing role blends sustainability, climate risk, financial markets, and technology.

You will identify new opportunities across asset managers, banks, corporates, and wealth managers, engaging prospective and existing clients to understand needs and introduce MSCI solutions, building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• 1–3 years of sales or client-facing experience; sustainability knowledge valued.
• Experience with prospecting, outbound engagement, lead generation, and qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with revenue goals, pipeline targets, and CRM data.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Excel.
• Interest in AI and emerging tech; experience with tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients across key segments in the Americas.
• Qualify opportunities by understanding client needs and match with MSCI solutions.
• Coordinate with Sales Specialists to execute account strategies.
• Maintain CRM data and forecast pipeline.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns and market research.
