Job summary

Unisys is seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to support and maintain hardware and software across office, manufacturing, and engineering environments in Mexico City. You will handle desktop and peripheral deployment, remote assistance, and escalation management, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

You will work with local and remote teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge management to improve service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; may require technical cert or Associate Degree.
• Generally 7+ years’ experience in area of responsibility.
• English skills level B2.
• Strong interpersonal skills; communicate with people at all levels.
• Experience creating polished, comprehensive documentation.
• Logical approach to technical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for client computing hardware and software.
• Builds, configures, and deploys desktops, laptops and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues following SOPs.
• Provides training to internal associates.
• Delivers outstanding service and supports after-hours when needed.
