Unisys México in Ciudad de México seeks an experienced IT Field Engineer to support and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobiles, and client software across office, manufacturing and engineering environments. You will build, configure, deploy hardware, and troubleshoot issues onsite and remotely.

You will collaborate with local and remote associates, provide after-hours support as needed, ensure ticket closure per SLA and contribute to knowledge base and process improvements while following

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate Degree preferred.
• Generally, 7+ years’ experience in IT support or field engineering.
• IMPORTANT ENGLISH SKILLS LEVEL B2.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities; adapt to rapid changes.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provides support for client computing hardware and software.
• Builds, configures, and deploys desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
• Troubleshoots issues using Standard Operating Procedures.
• Delivers outstanding service to Associates; after-hours support as needed.
• Supports ticketing system to manage requests to closure.
• Contributes to knowledge base with self-help articles.
• May assist with server installations, backups, networking, and software patches.
• Provides backup coverage for other local site support teams.
• Identifies opportunities to improve frontline processes and service quality.
