Job summary

AgileEngine in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer to build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that turn enterprise data into actionable insights. This role requires 4+ years of experience with Power BI dashboards and reports, solid data modeling and DAX, strong SQL, and familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud platforms and SAP-based sources.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and analytical data.
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
Experience with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems.
Experience with data modeling, transformation, and integration concepts.
Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
Ability to translate business processes into technical/data requirements.
Strong communication with both business and technical stakeholders.
Understanding of data quality, governance, KPI definitions, and data consistency.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports delivering actionable insights.
Translate requirements into data models, metrics, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with IT and data owners to identify data sources and data availability.
Support onboarding and integration of data into the data platform (Snowflake, SAP HANA sources).
Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across data flow and semantic/model layers.
Promote reusable data models and standardized KPI definitions.
Provide guidance on effective data visualization for decision-making.
Document data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, and technical solutions.
Work in an Agile delivery environment with distributed teams.
