Checkout.com is building a new Operations Hub in Mexico City and seeks a Risk Monitoring Analyst to help protect merchants by reviewing risk alerts, investigating activity, and making evidence-based recommendations. You will shape standards, processes, and culture for a growing team in Mexico.

This role focuses on ISV seller risk, requires collaboration with teams in Mexico and Mauritius, and offers hybrid work with structured training and growth opportunities.

Formación

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in risk monitoring, fraud operations, AML/KYC, credit risk, disputes, payments operations, or a similar analytical environment.
• Ability to analyse data and identify meaningful changes, anomalies, patterns, and trends.
• Experience using case management tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, or other systems to review information and document decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of payments, fintech, e-commerce, fraud, merchant risk, or financial crime is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the daily monitoring process.
• Investigate risk signals and assess patterns across transactions.
• Make and document decisions with clear rationale and escalation when needed.
• Communicate case findings and recommendations with Risk, Financial Crime, Onboarding, and Disputes teams.
• Help build the founding Mexico City team and SOPs, shaping processes and culture.
• Follow SOPs and escalation routes; maintain complete case records and timely closures.
