GoLean Health is seeking a proactive Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic’s operations from a remote setup. The role demands sharp attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to think ahead to minimize provider workload, with strong English communication and high accountability.

Key tasks include verifying insurance, managing denied claims and EOBs, balancing patient accounts, tracking appointments, and preparing operational reports.

Formación

• 1+ year experience as Medical Virtual Assistant
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs and billing
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Strong English communication, written and verbal
• Mac OS user

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• Resolve outstanding patient balances and coordinate next steps
• Support claims workflows including Cigna and VA
• Assist with vendor payments when needed
• Monitor SOAP note completion and compliance
• Track missed/cancelled appointments and trends
• Prepare reports on balances, bookings, EOB backlog, denied claims
• Coordinate team communications and task priorities
• Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements
