Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic remotely. The role emphasizes ownership of clinic workflows, proactive problem solving, and strong English communication.

You will handle insurance verifications, claims processing, EOBs, and billing-related tasks with accountability. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to think ahead, and capable of collaborating with providers and the care team.

Formación

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly detail-oriented with billing, documentation, and reporting tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately.
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing; track issues.
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
• Review outstanding balances and coordinate resolution steps.
• Support claims-related workflows for Cigna and VA; escalate when needed.
• Assist vendor payment coordination and ensure timely tasks.
• Monitor SOAP note completion, accuracy and compliance.
• Track missed or cancelled appointments and scheduling trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed/cancelled appointments, EOB backlog, and denials with insights.
• Foster clear communication between provider, care team, and admin staff.
• Identify workflow gaps and propose practical improvements to billing and operations.
