Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a Chiropractic Clinic in a fully remote capacity. The role demands a sharp, proactive individual who can own clinic workflows, detect gaps, and reduce administrative and billing tasks for the provider and care team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication, strong executive presence, high accountability, and the ability to build trust with the provider and staff.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document details.
• Review denied claims, identify denial reasons, and assist with reprocessing.
• Process Explanation of Benefits documents (EOBs) and clear backlogs.
• Resolve outstanding patient balances and coordinate next steps for resolution.
• Support claims workflows, including Cigna and VA claims, and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate vendor payments when required and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completion, accuracy, and compliance.
• Track missed and canceled appointments and scheduling trends.
• Prepare reports on outstanding balances, missed/canceled appointments, EOB backlog, denied claims, and other metrics with insights.
