Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a chiropractic clinic's operations. This remote role requires sharp, proactive, detail-oriented mindset, strong English, and ownership of clinic workflows with minimal supervision.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year as Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Leadership, ownership or high-accountability experience.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately.
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing and follow-up.
• Process Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and clear backlogs.
• Review outstanding patient balances and coordinate resolution.
• Support claims workflows for multiple payors and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate vendor payments and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor SOAP note completion and communicate gaps.
• Track missed/canceled appointments and analyze trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed/canceled/denied items with insights.
• Facilitate smooth communication among provider, care team, and staff.
