Bluelight LLC is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design and develop high-performance services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to robust, scalable APIs.

Ideal candidates have experience with OTP and distributed systems, RESTful APIs (or GraphQL), and PostgreSQL, with a strong product mindset and passion for quality software.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Proven Elixir and Phoenix experience.
• Experience with OTP and distributed systems.
• RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) design with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong product sense and reliability in scalable systems.
• Excellent communication within agile teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir/Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to release with clear technical specs.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay updated with Elixir ecosystem trends to drive innovation.
