Bluelight is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance Elixir/Phoenix services, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable, reliable APIs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend software development, strong Elixir/Phoenix experience, OTP knowledge, and proficiency with PostgreSQL. We value continuous learning, flexible hours, and remote-friendly options.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend software development
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems
• Proven design and build of RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)
• Relational databases experience with PostgreSQL (Ecto)

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements
• Own features from conception to production release
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of services
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices
