Bluelight is seeking a seasoned backend developer with strong Elixir and Phoenix experience to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs and services, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will own features from conception to release, write tests, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to release, including technical specs and clean code.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem to drive innovation.
