Bluelight is seeking a skilled backend software developer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, delivering scalable services for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into reliable APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and robust data models with PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense and tendency to build reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication in a collaborative, agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Build, design, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and release processes.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews for quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance and fault tolerance.
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
