Bluelightconsulting is seeking a skilled backend software engineer with a strong focus on Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in backend development, deep experience with Elixir/Phoenix, OTP, and PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Formación

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Experience with OTP, concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL).
• Relational databases with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Good product sense and focus on reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent communication in an agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Build, extend and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to release, including technical specs and rollout.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve performance and scalability.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
