Bluelight LLC is seeking a skilled backend developer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix framework.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scalable services, own features from conception to launch, and ensure code quality through tests and reviews. This fully remote role offers flexible hours, competitive compensation with bonuses, and opportunities

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend software development.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including creating specs, writing clean code, and releasing with confidence.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem to drive innovation.
