Job summary

CobaltoTalent is hiring a bilingual payroll & HR assistant to support clients in Madison, Wisconsin from Mexico. The role is 100% remote and focuses on payroll processing, HR administration, and compliance for hourly workforce across industries.

You will review timesheets, enter payroll, process hires and deductions, answer pay questions in Spanish or English, and maintain onboarding, I-9/W-4, and benefits paperwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll or HR administration for hourly workers.
• Advanced English (B2+) and native/fluent Spanish.
• Precise handling of hours, rates, and deductions; double-check before submission.
• Discretion with confidential employee data.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll entries and review timesheets weekly.
• Enter payroll in client systems and prep for approval.
• Handle new hires, rate changes, deductions, and terminations.
• Respond to employee pay questions in Spanish or English.
• Prepare onboarding packets and manage I-9 and W-4 completion.
• Maintain employee files, certifications, and PTO balances.
• Translate HR notices and safety communications into Spanish.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment paperwork with broker or PEO.
