Job summary

CobaltoTalent is hiring a 10 - Bilingual Payroll & HR Assistant to work remotely from Mexico for US-based clients with hourly workforces. You will handle payroll and HR tasks in English and Spanish, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You bring at least 2 years of payroll/HR experience, bilingual fluency, and solid Excel skills to coordinate onboarding, timekeeping, and benefits administration across multiple US forms and systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, HR administration or both for hourly workers.
• Advanced English (B2+) and native or fluent Spanish.
• Precision with hours, rates and deductions; you double-check before you submit.
• Discretion with confidential employee data.
• Intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Payroll: collect and review timesheets, enter payroll, prepare for approval.
• HR administration: onboarding, I-9/W-4, employee files, PTO balances.
• Translate HR notices and coordinate benefits with brokers/PEO.
• Answer employee questions in Spanish or English.
