The position requires ModMed EMR experience, insurance authorization skills, and 1+ year in healthcare admin. Hours are Tue 09:00–15:00 and Thu 09:00–15:00 CDT, with flexible remote work options and client-focused service.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year+ healthcare administrative or similar role experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Direct experience with ModMed EMR is required.
• Strong experience with insurance prior authorizations, tracking and follow-up.
• Experience verifying insurance benefits and codes.
• Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or related specialty preferred.
• Proactive, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently remotely.

Aufgaben

• Manage insurance prior authorizations from submission to approval, including tracking and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance eligibility, out-of-network benefits, procedure codes, and coverage requirements.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and administrative tasks in ModMed EMR.
• Provide virtual clinical documentation support during patient visits for real-time data entry.
• Handle calls and inquiries in English and Spanish, including appointment requests.
• Provide remote front-office support and patient communication as needed.
• Educate patients about aesthetic treatments and wellness services.
