Job summary

Cobalto Talent is seeking a meticulous Full-Charge Bookkeeper for remote LATAM work supporting US-based companies. You will leverage AI-assisted OCR, automated A/P/A/R workflows, and cloud software to ensure accurate processing with minimal manual entry.

The role requires 3+ years in transactional accounting, QBO or Xero expertise, and strong English communication. You will work with Bill.com, Dext, and Hubdoc, maintaining ledgers and assisting CPAs during tax season.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or transactional accounting role for US-based companies.
• Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Practical experience using AI-powered OCR, receipt scanners, and automated accounting workflows.
• Advanced English (B2/C1) for professional communication with US vendors and clients.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data manipulation.
• QBO certification is a major plus and familiarity with Bill.com, Dext, or Hubdoc.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) using AI-powered OCR to capture and code invoices.
• Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations and automate categorizations.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with a focus on exception handling.
• Utilize automated follow-up systems and AI drafting tools to manage collections and vendor communications.
• Process expense reports and manage vendor records using integrated tech-stack (Bill.com, Dext, Hubdoc).
• Prepare basic monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and assist CPAs with tax season prep.
