Job summary

Bluelight seeks an Account Executive to win new business with US-based startups and enterprises. You will sell custom software development, AI, cloud, and nearshore engineering services, owning every deal from initial conversation to signed agreement.

You will manage outbound prospecting, discovery calls, proposals and negotiations, driving a strong pipeline and revenue growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to signed agreement.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new clients via outbound prospecting and referrals.
• Run consultative discovery conversations to understand prospects' challenges and prove Bluelight's value.
• Create tailored proposals, decks and statements of work with delivery/tech teams.
• Engage senior decision-makers including CTOs and VP Engineering to close deals.
• Forecast revenue accurately and meet or exceed quarterly targets.
• Coordinate with SDRs, delivery and leadership for smooth handoffs.
• Represent Bluelight at events to generate opportunities.
