Job summary

Bluelight Consulting LLC is seeking an Account Executive to win new business with US-based startups and enterprises. You will sell custom software development, AI, cloud, and nearshore engineering services, owning every deal from first conversation to signed agreement.

You’ll engage senior decision-makers, build tailored proposals, and forecast revenue while maintaining a healthy pipeline. Remote work is supported in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales in a quota-carrying role.
• Experience selling professional services, IT services, software development or SaaS.
• Experience owning a full sales cycle and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
• Consultative approach focused on uncovering client needs and delivering value.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and written communication skills.
• Technical fluency to discuss software development, cloud and AI concepts.
• CRM experience with pipeline management (Pipedrive/HubSpot/Salesforce).
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with confidence selling to US-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation and close.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new clients through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Run consultative discovery conversations to understand prospects' business challenges and show how Bluelight's services solve them.
• Build tailored proposals, pitch decks and statements of work with delivery and technical teams.
• Engage and build trust with senior decision-makers, including CTOs and VPs of Engineering.
• Forecast revenue accurately and meet or exceed quarterly targets.
• Collaborate with SDRs, delivery and leadership for smooth handoffs and outcomes.
• Represent Bluelight at events to generate opportunities.
