Job summary

Scopely is seeking a People Operations Partner to join our team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis. You will own onboarding, local benefits, global mobility support, and compliance, delivering a seamless employee experience for North America staff.

You will drive process improvements, maintain accurate data, and partner with Legal, IT, and the HR Tech team to optimize systems. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, with a track record in HR operations across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or HR administration.
• Working knowledge of Mexican employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Track record of improving processes using data,time-saving templates or SOPs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in employee data and reporting.
• Service mindset with clear, empathetic communication.
• Experience with HRIS (Workday preferred) and a ticketing tool (JIRA preferred).
• Comfort with reporting and metrics.
• Experience with agentic AI workflows and safe, compliant automation.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding for new hires and deliver strong new hire orientations.
• Verify right to work and complete documentation before day one.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support audits.
• Conduct employment verifications and offboarding with Legal and PBPs.
• Advise PBPs, managers, and employees on local requirements.
• Drive improvements to reduce manual work and errors.
• Analyze JIRA and People Analytics metrics to spot trends.
• Create SOPs for core People processes and partner on HR systems.
