Job summary

Scopely in Mexico City is hiring a People Operations Partner to work on a hybrid basis from our Mexico City hub. You’ll support the employee experience for North America staff, bringing operational excellence to onboarding, benefits, mobility, and the broader lifecycle.

You’ll ensure compliance, maintain accurate records, partner with Legal and PBPs on offboarding, and continuously improve People Operations processes with a focus on accuracy, speed, and a positive, people-first service.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding for new hires and deliver People Operations new hire orientations that make a strong first impression.
• Confirm all new hires have the legal right to work and have completed required documentation before day one.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring employee documentation is completed.
• Conduct employment verifications.
• Partner with the People Business Partner (PBP) org and Legal on offboarding to make the exit experience smooth and respectful.
• Act as a trusted advisor to PBPs, managers, and employees, offering clear guidance on local requirements and processes.
• Drive ongoing improvements to People Operations processes, reducing manual work, errors, and turnaround time.
• Generate and analyze JIRA and People Analytics metrics to spot trends, inform decisions, and improve productivity, including through the use of AI.
• Create and maintain SOPs for core People processes, with clear roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and HR Tech to refine HR systems and keep them efficient and aligned with data privacy requirements.
• Support employee and manager questions on local benefits, providing timely and accurate answers.
