Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is expanding its Mexico City hub and seeks a People and Workplace Lead to drive HR operations, onboarding, and employee relations from day one. This role balances coordinating the office launch with ongoing HR support across engineering, data, design, and product teams.

You will ensure compliance with Mexican labor law (LFT), manage confidential issues with discretion, and partner with global teams to scale the local office while fostering a strong culture and engaging

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of HR generalist or HR operations experience.
• Full professional bilingualism in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law (LFT) and IMSS.
• Experience launching offices or expansions in a remote or regional capacity is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Launch & Office Readiness for CDMX space: move-in, furniture, IT setup, badges.
• Lead onboarding for all CDMX employees and 30/60/90‑day check-ins.
• Provide first-line employee relations support and policy guidance.
• Support employee engagement, team events, recognition programs and culture.
• Assist HR investigations, confidentiality, and processes with global People Ops.
• Advise leadership on people matters and maintain accurate HR records.
