Alten México in Mexicali is seeking an IT Site Support Associate to handle hardware, software, network and server issues for end users on PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. The role includes basic L2/L3 support for AE Infra when needed, working on installations and configurations, and ensuring equipment readiness.

You will log and track tickets, assist with onboarding, coordinate with managers on priorities, and contribute to IT asset management while adhering to safety and quality

Formación

• Microsoft Windows OS, Outlook and Office proficiency.
• Active Directory administration including domain accounts and DHCP.
• Printers and network devices configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, responds to, troubleshoots IT problems from internal customers.
• Tracks PC problems and resolves them promptly and courteously.
• Logs, monitors, resolves and closes tickets in the service desk tool.
• Directs advanced issues to appropriate resources as needed.
• Assists with software installation, updates and configurations.
• Implements PC setup, configuration and roll-down activities.
• Maintains computer, printer, switch and server configurations.
• Updates IT asset records and inventory.
• Assists with training for new hires and internal customers.
• Collaborates with managers to set priorities and troubleshoot.
• Evaluates and procures IT equipment and networking gear.
• Adheres to quality, safety and regulatory policies.
