MGI is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Specialist for Mexico City with NGS and molecular biology expertise. You will support distributors and customers, build relationships with researchers and lab managers, drive product adoption, and achieve revenue targets across academic, clinical, and distributor accounts.

The role requires hands-on NGS workflow experience, strong consultative selling skills, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel across LATAM (30–50%).

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related life-science field.
• 3+ years industry experience in technical sales or 5+ years combined lab experience plus sales/business development.
• Proven track record meeting sales targets and managing complex technical sales cycles.
• Hands-on experience with NGS workflows (library prep, sequencing platforms, sample QC) and common molecular biology methods (PCR/qPCR, nucleic acid extraction).
• Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and preparing technical proposals/quotes.
• Willingness to travel LATAM countries (typically 30–50%).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Generate and qualify leads, manage pipeline in CRM, prepare proposals, and close deals.
• Serve as the technical lead for customer engagements, in-person or remotely.
• Provide guidance on NGS workflows (library prep, sequencing platforms, data QC).
• Collaborate with applications scientists and technical support to resolve customer doubts and problems quickly.
• Collect market and competitor intelligence.
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and customer sites.
