Job summary

OEC Group is seeking an on-site Logistics Coordinator in Guadalajara to manage warehousing and distribution for diverse client accounts. You will serve as the main liaison among warehouses, customers, carriers, and vendors while ensuring timely, accurate shipment execution.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of logistics experience, strong English skills, and familiarity with EDI/XML or freight systems, plus solid Excel and MS Office capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in 3PL, warehousing, trucking, LTL/FTL, or freight forwarding environments is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Customer-oriented communication with vendors, warehouses, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with EDI, XML, or freight management systems is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between warehouses, customers, sales reps, carriers, and vendors for warehousing and distribution.
• Coordinate road freight shipments end-to-end, including shipment creation, transport assignment, delivery, billing, and follow-up.
• Manage day-to-day warehousing and distribution operations for assigned customer accounts, ensuring service expectations are met.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, shipment updates, and communications among all parties in the distribution process.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and customer account documentation in company systems.
• Monitor workflow and generate reports to support shipment visibility and performance tracking.
• Review warehousing and distribution billing, escalate discrepancies to Sales, Management, or Pricing teams as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Follow SOPs while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and service quality.
