Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the position or similar.
• Advanced expertise in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control.
• Reading plans or diagrams of control, force and electronics.
• Advanced knowledge in PLCs and their programming.
• Programming of robots with 6 axes or more.
• Leadership and supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage machinery, equipment or automatic systems in the production process.
• Improve efficiency, quality and operating costs through automation projects.
• Develop preventive maintenance routines for control, instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Integrate software and hardware to automate processes.
• Collaborate with other departments on new projects.
• Create user manuals and maintain automation equipment.
• Train personnel in control, instrumentation and automation.
• Support TPM execution and root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Manage all equipment and tools in the control and automation areas.
• Participate in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance projects.
• Design tools and systems to improve productivity and error-proof processes (Poka Yoke).
• Register spare parts for critical equipment and support technical staff.
