Flex is seeking an Automation Engineer in Aguascalientes to lead automation projects from concept through validation and implementation in manufacturing settings. You will design and integrate PLC-controlled systems, robotics, AMRs, and Cobots to raise productivity, quality, and safety.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline, strong English, extensive automation experience, and a hands-on approach to CAD and PLC troubleshooting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Strong automation engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading automation projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and PLC programming.
• Experience with AMRs and Cobots is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation projects from concept to implementation in manufacturing environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety and efficiency through automation technologies.
• Develop and integrate PLC-controlled systems, robotics, AMRs, and Cobots into production processes.
• Design and implement pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical automation solutions.
• Create connections between information inputs, controllers, sensors, and production outputs.
• Develop and execute tests, simulations, and validations to ensure systems perform as intended.
• Monitor automation systems performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment, automation systems, and manufacturing process issues through root cause analysis.
• Manage safety systems, motor controls, drives, communication networks, and HMI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to support manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation including BoMs, specifications, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
