Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Ciudad de México is hiring an Area Manager to lead last mile operations from a Delivery Station, ensuring 24/7 coverage and scalable performance. You will drive goals, analyze data, and mentor a team across cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities include setting strategy, improving processes with Lean tools, coordinating with PxT, On the Road, Finance, IT and Engineering, and delivering world-class delivery service to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Managing an environment concerning the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers, 24/7 operation.
• Driving operational goals and metrics for the Delivery Station; communicating the vision to the team.
• Presenting operational metrics to the senior leadership team.
• Solving problems to close gaps between performance and goals.
• Hire and develop top talent; create and implement a talent plan for the site.
• Collaborate with PxT, On the Road team, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, ACES and Engineering.
• Set and communicate strategy and performance goals to maximize productivity.
• Partner with AMZL Delivery Station on road management to establish quality standards.
• Lead process improvements using Lean tools and cross-functional coordination.
• Communicate across areas to align goals and tasks for program success.
