Job summary

Citi in Mexico seeks a Business Development Officer to attract, maintain, and grow relationships with SME clients, offering high-value advisory on Citi products and solutions. You will build a consolidated client portfolio and strive to meet sales goals across the portfolio.

You will detect client needs to deepen relationships, cross-sell effectively, and ensure compliant, ethical banking practices while enhancing the customer experience in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in selling financial products.
• Knowledge of financial products, especially credit to companies, sales techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and management of objections with customers to achieve effective sales.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain the SME portfolio according to sales goals.
• Identify client needs to deepen the Customer-Bank relationship.
• Provide high-value advisory across Citi products for SME clients.
• Execute campaigns and strategies to boost sales growth.
• Ensure compliance with Citi policies and applicable regulations.
