Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Mexico City seeks a Business Dev Intmd Officer to advance lending and cross-sell opportunities.

You will build relationships with bank assessment areas, analyze prospects, and coordinate with Citi teams to meet goals. Responsibilities include developing business plans, conducting market research, preparing presentations, and tracking pipelines, while ensuring risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience in financial services.
• Experience with financial planning software a plus.
• CFP preferred or working towards a CFP designation.
• Active Series 7 preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build strong relationships within bank assessment areas to promote and generate business.
• Facilitate and promote financial education, seminars and outreach efforts to generate business.
• Provide technical training on lending programs/products to external partners and internal teams.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with external clients to increase lending penetration.
• Support strategic planning and respond to retail private label and co-brand opportunities.
• Perform deep-dive research of new prospects (company data, financials, value proposition).
• Assemble business plans for high-priority prospects and maintain tracking.
• Coordinate market research requests for prospects, including brand data analytics.
• Prepare prospect meeting presentations and manage deck production.
• Develop business plans with closed loan goals for each product.
