Panthr in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Java Support Engineer to join our application support team in an L2/L3 capacity. You will analyze and resolve production issues, support the reliability of critical systems, and automate repetitive tasks.

In collaboration with development, management, and users, you will diagnose complex problems, write code when needed, and drive incidents from initial investigation to resolution in a fast-paced production environment.

Formación

• 6–10 years of experience in L2/L3 application support or a similar production support role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and/or Java 17.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and command-line troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong coding and debugging capabilities.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a structured and proactive manner.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems, with proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex application and technical issues using Java, Unix/Linux, and SQL skills.
• Develop and enhance Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system scalability, reliability, availability, and performance.
• Investigate production incidents, assess business impact, manage incidents through resolution, and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Escalate complex issues to development and management with clear technical analysis and supporting information.
• Work closely with development teams to identify root causes, resolve recurring issues, and drive improvements.
• Create and maintain incident and problem tickets with proper documentation and follow-through.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes, system stability, and performance.
