Coforge is seeking a L2/L3 Support Engineer in Mexico City or Guadalajara. This onsite role requires 5+ years in software development/production support and a strong background in Java 8+ with C/C++/Angular, scripting languages, and UNIX/ETL processes.

Responsibilities include incident management, issue resolution, and performance improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Willingness to learn proprietary tech is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in software development/production support.
• Strong data structures knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in UNIX troubleshooting, ETL/batch processes, and capacity management.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and one of C, C++, or Angular; scripting with Shell, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with RDBMS such as Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with team to analyze and resolve application issues.
• Identify defects and trends through code debugging and log analysis.
• Manage incidents and communicate with users, owners, and stakeholders.
• Enhance stability and performance by suggesting permanent fixes.
• Use engineering tools to automate failure responses and monitor production health.
• Identify and automate alerts and processes with the Engineering team.
• Challenge existing setups and propose stability improvements.
• Participate in Change Management to manage production risks.
• Develop and improve run books to minimize errors and boost efficiency.
• Create reports showing trending statistics for application health and performance.

Educación

Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent)

Degree in Computer Science
