Job summary

MezTal is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our pre-sales team. You will participate in discovery, demos, and technical scoping calls, shadowing senior colleagues initially and leading demos by month four. This is not outbound prospecting; marketing leads generation.

The role focuses on understanding customer needs, configuring solutions, and guiding deals through to signed agreements. You will support proposals, pricing, and contracts, ensuring scoping deliverables and accurate CRM data,

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in a SaaS pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical account role

Responsibilities

• Join discovery calls and qualify fit while keeping the customer's real needs at the center.
• Own the demo layer: set up, run and debrief tailored demos by community type and scope.
• Handle integration, configuration and product-fit questions live, and lead technical scoping calls for larger and multi-community deals.
• Build and maintain demo environments, scripts and sales collateral.
• Support proposals, pricing and contracts: build and track proposals, help with contract drafting and admin together with legal and finance, and contribute to RFP responses.
• Make sure what we scope is deliverable: partner with onboarding and customer success, and hand each deal over cleanly.
• Help qualify inbound leads and keep deal data in our CRM accurate.
• Be the product-knowledge backstop for every new sales hire, and share what customers tell you with our product team.
