Job summary

ARQ is seeking a Licensing Lead to own the global licensing workstream across banking, payments, wealth, and crypto. You will track all license applications across jurisdictions, drive deliverables with product, legal, operations, and finance, and ensure ARQ has the necessary regulatory permissions to operate and scale.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in a high-performance environment (e.g., MBB or high-growth startup)
• Outstanding structured problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior audiences
• Proven project management and organizational ability; manage multiple workstreams
• Strong learning velocity and curiosity; operate across legal, regulatory, financial, and technical subjects
• High ownership mentality with bias for action and accountability
• Comfort in fast-moving, early-stage environments with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Own the global licensing workstream end to end across licenses and jurisdictions
• Maintain a single source of truth for active and upcoming license expansions globally
• Track milestones, deadlines, and dependencies; surface risks early and drive resolution
• Build and manage structured project plans for licensing workstreams
• Coordinate with external counsel and local advisors on deliverables, timelines, and cost
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable workstreams for product, engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams
• Draft and structure submissions, policy documents, regulatory responses, and internal materials
• Coordinate preparation for regulatory submissions and go-live audits
• Act as the connective tissue between global teams and in-market licensing leads
