Job summary

ARQ is expanding licensing across banking, wealth, payments, and crypto. As Licensing Associate, you’ll own the global licensing workstream end to end, tracking active and upcoming licenses across jurisdictions, driving deliverables with product, legal, operations, and finance, and ensuring ARQ has the permissions to operate and scale.

You’ll collaborate with senior leadership and external counsel, bringing structure, rigor, and pace to a critical function at a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g., MBB, high-growth startups)
• Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication for senior audiences
• Proven project management and organisational ability
• Strong learning velocity and curiosity across regulatory, legal, financial and technical domains
• High ownership mentality with bias for action and accountability

Responsibilities

• Drive the global licensing agenda across licenses and jurisdictions
• Own the licensing pipeline with a single source of truth
• Track milestones, deadlines, and dependencies; surface risks early
• Coordinate with external counsel and local advisors
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable workstreams for cross-functional teams
• Draft submissions, policy documents, and regulatory responses
• Support maintenance and renewal of licenses and ensure ongoing compliance
