Job summary

Pluslife, an innovative biotechnology company, seeks a Technical Support Trainer to deliver advanced troubleshooting and distributor training for molecular diagnostics devices both locally and remotely in Mexico. This role requires on-site presence, extensive travel within Mexico, and collaboration with international teams.

The candidate will train distributors, evaluate service quality, and support end users with instrument operation, workflow guidance, and POC testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology or related field.
• 3–5 years of technical support experience in molecular diagnostics, medical devices, or POC systems.
• Experience training distributors; Mexico City experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across hardware, reagents/consumables, and system-level issues.
• Professional fluency in English and French as working languages.
• Travel 50–70% within Mexico

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training to distributor engineers and application specialists, conduct advanced troubleshooting, and evaluate service quality.
• Support end users with instrument operation, workflow guidance, and POC molecular testing training; provide Level 2 technical support.
• Work with distributors to complete instrument installation, calibration, and verification, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues (remotely and on-site).
• Localize and improve training materials, SOPs, and user manuals based on local language needs and usage scenarios.
• Through on-site support and field visits, monitor instrument performance and testing quality; participate in EQA activities and data reporting.
• Collect and relay issues raised by distributors and end users, producing structured reports to support product and R&D improvements.
