Job summary

Amazon in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX is seeking a Shift Station Manager to lead the delivery station operations, ensuring safety, quality and productivity. You will manage a team of Process Assistants and DSPs, oversee daily activities, and drive process improvements while adapting to changing operational needs.

The role requires managing forecasts, implementing Lean initiatives, and maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Review the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation; manage a team to meet building goals.
• Lead the day-to-day management of the delivery station; supervise Process Assistants and DSPs.
• Support safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and DSPs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools across the operation; drive change.
• Assist in daily operations: receiving, scanning, lifting and moving shipments up to 25 kgs.
• Route shipments within AMZL coverage area and monitor driver dispatch.
