Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Delivery Area Manager to lead a team of shift managers and associates at a delivery station in Mexico. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing leaders and delivering customer service at scale.

Requirements include 3+ years in people management, 6+ years in operations, a Bachelor's degree, and fluency in English and Spanish. You will manage daily operations, coordinate with DSPs, and lead Lean improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• 6+ years of operational experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 or above).

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the delivery station and operations.
• Lead a team of Process Assistants and DSPs with daily tasks and training.
• Ensure a safe, well-trained workplace and address staff needs.
• Lead change at rapid pace and drive Lean initiatives.
• Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area.
• Support and assign duties to process assistants.
• Adapt to changes and growth in operations.
• Track and monitor sorting operations and driver dispatch.
• Review forecasts and set productivity targets for the sort operation.
• Support safety programs to maintain a safe environment.
• Identify and lead process-improvement initiatives.
