Lear Corporation in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, is seeking a Quality Engineer (Customer Service) focused on addressing quality issues, coordinating containment, and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve high customer satisfaction.

You will respond to customer complaints, work as the primary contact for specific requirements, and lead 8D problem solving with engineers, manufacturing, and maintenance to prevent recurrence. Strong English and exposure to OEMs preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar position in wire harness processes.
• Experience interacting directly with OEMs and working in quality/control roles.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to customers regarding reported quality complaints.
• Primary point of contact with customers for specific requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues using 8D, Ishikawa, and DDW.
• Monitor status of customer concerns until closure is ensured.
• Review customer systems to ensure all issues are addressed.
• Coordinate defect analysis meetings and customer response discussions.
• Use LQTS database to analyze complaints and close each concern.
• Generate quality performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
• Implement effective corrective actions to prevent repeat defects.
• Comply with biosafety measures and COVID-19 protocols.
• Maintain organized, clean work environment with 5S.
