Position Overview

To ensure that the calibration system is in compliance with the established quality procedure by following‑up calibration and re‑calibration plans, reviewing and approving documentation, coordinating resources and detecting opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities
  • Sending and receiving instruments to be calibrated.
  • Perform internal calibrations according to establish instructions.
  • Develop, modify and implement measuring methods previously established or new, for the verification of production components and/or tools for inspections/production as may be required.
  • Coordinate the periodic verification tours of equipment.
  • Assure effectiveness on containment and corrective actions mentioned on the NCs.
  • Perform a trending of calibration results and NCs raised to evaluate the equipment calibration period or functionality.
  • Supervise the activities of the personnel under the supervisory organization.
About you
Skills and Experience
  • Approximately 2 years ofexperienceworking within the area, supporting calibration and metrology processes.
  • Experience working with suppliers is required.
  • Desirable experience working with Maximo, Bluemontain or related softwares.
  • English proficiency: Intermediate
  • Microsoft profiency: Intermediate - Advanced.
Qualifications/Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
